seesmic sidebar
seesmic is a popular new video conversation site which I've been a member of since the beginning of 2008
One of the troubles I had was that unless you keep checking back to the site you don't know what's going on, so I decided to develop a sidebar which displays the latest conversations, updating automatically as new videos are posted.
Using the seesmic API I also created a search function, the ability to add web links to your posts, and a tagging engine.
As it's a Firefox extension, it can also be downloaded as a desktop app using Mozilla Prism, as shown below.
